Christmas is coming … and what better way to welcome in the festive season than by learning some new recipes to bring to the family table with Two Greek Girls Cooking? Join Desi and Lisa at the Golden Pig, Newstead for a wonderful ‘Mediterranean Christmas Feast’ cooking demo on Monday the 3rd of December 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
Update: Our guest speaker for the evening is Dorothea Vallianos. Resident Psychologist at Tree of Life Nutrition and her own practice Circle of Life Therapy. She’ll be speaking about surviving the festive season, as well as stopping the diet mentality.
We will be demonstrating some delicious Mediterranean recipes on the night.
Lisa will be cooking Lamb Souvlakia and Greek salad as well as Lemon Chicken with Roasted Beetroot and Feta Salad. Desi will be showing you how to make Slow Cooked Pork Yiros as well as Baked or Grilled Fish with Skorthalia Sauce.
We will also have a few Greek Sweeties to surprise you with…because Christmas just isn’t Christmas without a sweet treat!
What are your demos like?
If you haven’t been to one of our demos before, this is an intimate and relaxed setting.
Get up close to the kitchen, ask questions of Desi and Lisa and taste the dishes we make!
Our aim is to have you walk away feeling confident to make these dishes in your own home. We also provide you with a copy of each recipe!
